Review — Night of Something Strange 2016
This one is not for everyone, in fact, probably not for very many at all! But personally I loved it! It doesn’t waste time getting started, just dives straight in with the sick, twisted fun!
Okay, now, this is really saying something, “Night of Something Strange” is, overall, quite possibly the sickest film I’ve EVER seen, and of course, you can tell that that’s precisely what the film was aiming for. So watch this one at your own risk, and, if you do, be sure not to take it seriously AT ALL, it’s crazy, disgusting, gory, slimy fun, and nothing more!
“Night of Something Strange” begins in a morgue, Cornelius is a worker with a serious case of necrophilia, so when the fresh body of a pretty young lady comes in, of course, he can’t help himself. Unfortunately, he didn’t check her chart… had he, he’d have seen that her cause of death was believed to be some sort of STD.. But it’s too late, Cornelius is infected with a virus that turns its victims into sex-crazed, violent zombie-like creatures, and he goes about spreading the virus and leaving a revolting trail of blood and various other bodily fluids, from himself and others, in his wake. Among Cornelius’ victims is a teenage girl who uses a toilet after him, she’s the first in her group of friends to become infected and all hell breaks lose when the teens stop at a motel for the night, and all the “zombies” seem to gravitate there, also.
Now, at first it seems as though those infected ‘just’ become “randy zombies” who certainly don’t take “no” for an answer..but, as you can see on the poster, these ..things.. are more than just the walking dead with a horny twist!
Despite how utterly sick it was, I really did enjoy this film, it certainly is a LOT of fun…provided you can stomach it!
